In the movie, Arthur Case, founder and chairman of the board of the Manhattan Bank that was robbed betrayed a Jewish friend to the Nazis and took the friend’s diamonds. Case also received money from the Nazis for the betrayal, which he used to start the bank.

For this assignment, answer the following questions:

• Based on the definition of corporate social responsibility (CSR), what is the responsibility of the bank? What should it do?
• At the end of the movie, Detective Frazier found the diamond in his pocket that was put there by the bank robber. Why is this situation an ethical dilemma? What should Detective Frazier do?
