Scenario: You are newly assigned to the detective bureau within your police department. You and your partner, who has been on the force for almost 10 years, of which 7 have been as a homicide investigator, have just been dispatched to a suspicious death. Upon your arrival, you notice that the media already set up operations at the crime scene and is currently broadcasting live. As you approach the scene, a reporter approaches you with microphone in hand and begins to ask specific questions related to the incident. You politely tell her that the department information officer will provide any and all information related to the incident, in a timely manner.
