       Describe an auto transformer starter. From the expression for power input per phase ( pro torque ) show that for turns ratio n of (root 3): 1 for the auto transformer:
the power input to the motor/phase = Vs^2*Rp/n^2*Zp^2
the motor starting torque = DOL torque/3
