Imagery in "Everyday Use"

For this assignment, write an essay of 400-500 words, in which you analyze the use of imagery and symbolism in "Everyday Use." It is up to you to come up with a thesis and main focus for the essay. You should discuss at least two different images and/or symbols and certainly could discuss more than that. Be sure that you are clear about the meaning of the imagery/symbolism and how you see it fitting into the other elements of the story, including its theme.
