Primary Task Response: Within the Discussion Board area, write 400–600 words that respond to the following questions with your thoughts, ideas, and comments. This will be the foundation for future discussions by your classmates. Be substantive and clear, and use examples to reinforce your ideas.

**Please note, the Inside Man is rated R due mostly to profanity and one scene with partial nudity (in undergarments). If, for any reason, this is not comfortable for you, please alert faculty for an optional movie selection.

There were a number of diversity issues identified in this movie. Focus on the relationship between Detective Frazier and Sergeant Collins. Sergeant Collins made some racist comments when he was talking about his altercation with a youth. Conversations where one employee shows bias against a group of people often happen in the workplace. Based on your readings of the importance of managing diversity in the workplace, respond to the following questions:

• Did you think Detective Frazier’s response where he asked Collins to tone it down was appropriate? Why or why not?
• What would you do if you were Detective Frazier?
