You just have one this week, instead of two from which to pick. Please read both versions of the Declaration of Independence. Compare and contrast the draft to the final version. Then, discuss the principals expressed and identify the Enlightenment philosophy at work.  Then, read and analyze the Constitution of the United States as a final conclusion of the criticism laid forth in the Declaration of Independence.  How do these works prefect Enlightenment and religious philosophy? Be sure to discuss the language of the Preamble and explaining what was meant by the religious language.  Draw from our readings and lectures in your analysis of the wording.
