Affordable Care Act—Health Care Financing and Access to Services

In many countries around the world, universal access to health care is considered a right for all citizens. In order to promote improvement in access and quality, the United States passed the Affordable Care Act in 2010; however, debate continues in regard to implementation of the ACA. In the Resources for this week the website, Kaiser Family Foundation – Summary of the ACA, provides a brief summary of the ACA. Please review all of the information – and note the sections related to prevention and wellness. Also, please watch the videos and review the other websites.
