Java Jet Proposal Scenario

Java Jet, Inc. has created a specialized espresso machine that makes five specialized espresso drinks at a time. Java Jet wants to enter into a contract with Bright Lights, Inc. in the state of New York.

Java Jet has been operating as a corporation and has been very creative in its design of the espresso machine. Bright Lights, Inc. has its principal place of business in Paris, France, and plans to operate specialized coffee houses in multiple locations in New York state and Paris.

Bright Lights is very interested in the espresso machine. Jeffrey, Java Jet’s vice president of operations, is negotiating the contract with Bright Lights. Jeffrey owns a significant amount of stock in Bright Lights, but he does not disclose that to Bright Lights.
