Each student will select an HR Event (within the last year) and present the issue along with their suggestion on how they might tackle the issue. This paper will cover an occurrence within an organization reported in the media and relating to a functional area of HRM, such as workplace discrimination, health and safety, recruitment and selection, compensation and benefits, performance appraisals, training and development, etc.  Reference at least one article from a newspaper, business magazine, or journal article in this discussion and include your educated opinion on the handling of the event and any recommendations on how you believe the event could better be handled.  Students will present articles using PowerPoint or similar media in class.  The paper will be graded on its grammar, content, and overall quality following a rubric to be distributed in class. This project will include a 3 page paper with references used
