Covey (2004, p. 111-128) asserts that effective people are principle-centered as opposed to being centered on other people (spouse, family, friends) or circumstances (work, money, possessions). Meanwhile, Frankl (2006) tells us we can discover meaning in life through work and through love (p. 111). What is the difference between being centered on something/someone, and finding a source of meaning through something/someone? Why is it occasionally important to stop and question which category important things in your life (like school) are falling in?
