1. Discuss why planning is an integral part of leadership and not a fad. Why is planning important?

2. The degree to which goal setting is engrained into an organization is the commitment to planning. An effective leader never stops planning, because there are always different, new, or better ways of doing things. Discuss why today’s leadership must foster involvement and participation in planning at all levels of the organization.
