2 (CFR 1926) construction cases from the OSHA web site, newspaper articles

You are required to identify two (CFR 1926) construction cases from the OSHA web site, newspaper articles or other appropriate source.  Each student is to prepare a brief paper on their case to 1) provide a brief background of the case, 2) what was/were the major hazards identified in the article, 3) what is the OSHA (CFR 1926) standard(s) violated, and 4) describe the remedy for the hazard(s).  These assignments will not be accepted late.  Students will be called upon to “briefly” present their case.
