Suppose a solid disk of radius R=3.64 cm is given an angular velocity ω=54.83 rad/s about an axis through its center perpendicular to its plane. The disk is lowered to a rough horizontal table with this angular speed and release imediatly when touched the surface. Assume the coefficient of kinetic friction between the disk and the table is μk=0.21. How far (in cm) will the dist travel untill it stops skidding (i.e starts to roll without slipping)? use g=9.8 m/s2.
In the answer only input the numeric result. Your answer must be within ±0.01 cm of the accepted value.
