Answer:

There are so many traits and leadership styles that can have both a positive and a negative effect on those being led. One trait of a servant leader is acceptance, receive what is offered (Greenleaf et al., 2002). The servant leader will never reject one however a servant leader may refuse the performance of a follower who the servant leader knows can be better. Servant leading can be considered a vocation due to the natural instinct to serve others first, there is not an agenda as a leader.  This is a natural unconscious commitment.  Behaviors seen such as listening, empathizing, awareness, perception, persuasion and conceptualization (Greenleaf et al., 2002). These are the behaviors a servant leader exhibits. These servant leaders within organizations may be persuading one at a time, asking the questions to spark conversation and raise questions.

Servant leaders have a style a bit different than traditional leaders. A servant leader may possess the qualities of a transformational leader, a leader who inspires others for change (Forbes, 2015). Leaders are focused on leading which is much what they are setting out to do. However a servant leader is focused on serving bringing followers to their full potential, inspiring others to see their own potential.
