Childhood obesity is a growing problem in the United States. A few years ago the state of Arkansas measured each student’s BMI and informed families of the results in an effort to aide families in reducing obesity. However, many schools found the expense of conducting the tests and notifying families by mail to be too much. Write a letter to the editor stating your position on whether the BMI testing should or should not continue in the state of Arkansas. Your letter should be approximately a 1 page persuasive essay.
