Academic Article to Analyze: You may choose an article that relates to law, society, &/or justice from either CQ Researcher or Opposing Viewpoints.  These resources are located in the RLC online library databases catalog. 

Part 1: Outline the Following Preliminary Ideas for Your Essay:

I.               Thesis statement-A one-sentence, overall argument that you believe the article makes or the take-away message from the article.  Use your critical thinking skills and write your own idea in your own words.
