For your first journal assignment (due Thursday), please select one of the three recipes and rewrite a portion of the recipe in a different style.  The purpose here is to really think carefully about how the original is presenting the information to you.  By rewriting this information in a different style, you are demonstrating the extent to which you understand the original style and its aims.  Just do the best you can and don’t forget to write a brief paragraph explaining why you made the changes you made.
