 Hello my Superstar Students,
Regarding the term paper my hope is that you will all find some current topic involving 

business taxation from either a federal, state or international perspective from your 

current readings or perhaps the Wall Street Journal, The Economist, or any other 

newspaper or journal you may have access to. I have provided the following topics

 are suggestions:
1.  Marketplace Fairness Act concerning state taxation of out-of-state businesses
2.  The corporate income tax rate reduction debate concerning reducing the

 corporate top tax rate for corporations; pros and cons can be discussed
3.  The history of corporate entity taxation
4.  U.S. corporations moving overseas to avoid taxation is being discussed frequently

 in articles as the U.S. is attempting to prevent this tax avoidance strategy: what are

 the laws that allow it and how are corporations using them?
5. You can choose any topic we have discussed in class (slides) and write about the

 topic in detail as well.
