Social stratification refers to the way in which society is organized in layers or strata. People don’t share prosperity equally. Some people are poor, some are rich, and most are ‘in between.’ Write one page in which you focus on and explain the status of one of the following groups in Canada: 1) The poor in Canada, or; 2) The rich in Canada, or; 3) The middle-class (‘in between’) in Canada.  You must be fully prepared to briefly share/present what you have written in the class.
