Writing Assignment Three

For this assignment, you will write an annotated bibliography related to the topic you chose for WA 2. These sources should be books, peer reviewed journal articles, and other relevant sources approved by your instructor. (That means no Wikipedia or Dictionary entries, for example.) You must annotate FIVE sources using no less than 150 words per entry. Your annotated bibliography must be in MLA format. Sort your entries alphabetically.

Annotated Bibliography

• Give me the bibliographic entry in MLA format.
• Summarize the article.
• Evaluate the article. How might it be useful to your future WA 4? How the article succeeds/fails?
• Repeat until you have 5 entries.
• Edit for grammar.

Grading:

• Evaluation - 30%
• Length - Does the annotated bibliography have 5 entries? And do the entries meet the required length of 150 words?  40%
• Summary – 30%
• MLA is a requirement. If the assignment is not in MLA, it will receive a 0. This means Times New Roman, 12 point font, correctly formatted, with the sources in alphabetical order and cited correctly.
