Wilderness Area

Research the Internet and other sources and find a wilderness area near you or one of interest.
Here is a list of such areas in the U.S. from Wilderness.net

Present the following to the class: The name of the area and the agency that manages it, the resource values for which it was established, and the current uses that occur within it. Also address the following: what did you learn from doing this research; what is important about wilderness areas; why are they managed differently than other public lands?

Include one photo of your chosen wilderness area.
