Why We Cant Wait
read the chapters leading up to Dr. King's Letter from a Birmingham Jail- it is important in understanding the questions
Dr. Kings letter from the jail cell in 1963 is considered a turning point in the entire Civil Rights Movement- considering the background and referring to the text (his words) why is this the case? What are the significant issues in the letter? What points does he make that you find particularly compelling? (really needs to focus on the letter from a Birmingham jail)
