Imagine you are the CIO and the organization has a new CEO. The CEO has requested that you meet to discuss the importance of digital transformation and issues in IT.
Create a 2- to 3-page memo or an 8- to 12-slide media-rich presentation to the CEO in advance of your meeting. Include the following:
- Define digital transformation and how it drives business value in the organization.
- Identify current issues in IT leadership. Discuss relevant changes to IT leadership in the last 3 to 5 years in general, but also specifically in relationship to the organization.
- Include specific examples of how, as the CIO, you can leverage new technologies to create a competitive advantage.
