Please post one-page interpretation from one of your assigned readings for this week that again discusses the theme of the "American Dream" in the Modern era. How has it changed/evolved from the beginnings of American Literature? Is gender, class, race, etc. factors in the "American Dream"? Does the "American Dream" still exist in Modernism, or do some texts strive to show it as a false or unfair concept?
