Week 4 Discussion

Youbwill solve two main methods: factoring and using quadratic formulA.

Use factoring to solve 

x^2-6x+5=o

Use the Quadratic formula to solve 

3x^2+x-2=0

For the factoring problem, be sure you show all the steps to factoring and solving. show a check of your solution back into the original eqaytin.

Fornthe quadratic formula be sure that you use readable notation while you Are working the the computational steps.

Present your fina solutions as a decimal approximations carried out to the third decimal place. Duenyo the nature if these solutions, no check is required.
