Week 1 Research Methods

There are three questions for this assignment. This assignment covers a lot of information and will most likely be longer than a page so anything less will not be accepted for full credit. Also for full credit you must cite at least one source. If you fail to cite at least one source and you reach the page requirement and you have a good answer, you will only received 7 out of the 10 points.

1. Explain how experimenters control for subjects’ and researchers’ expectations.
2. Explain the differences between two types of  validity.
3. Discuss the various methods used to study abnormal behavior, including the correlational method, the experimental method, the epidemiological method, and the case study method. Include strengths and limitations of each method.
