 If I could have a do over, I would have done this instead……

Discussio n

The particularly interesting encounter I experienced this week is with a patient having hypnotherapy. I have never experienced this type of therapy, so it was in fact a new experience for me. Being able to allow the client to regress into a previous state to focus on a particular situation that is giving them some form of trauma in the present is very interesting. I would like to do some more research for myself to validate my understanding of this process. I feel that my preceptor truly believes in the value of hypnotherapy as well as the patient. I look forward to seeing is the positive messages he received during the session has been affective for him as he work on self-care between sessions.

Looking Ahead

 What clinical goal would you like to tackle next week?

 What is your proposed clinical schedule (date/time/total hours) for next week?

Discussio n
