Transitional Fossils

Critics of evolution point to an absence of “missing links” or evidence for the evolutionary pathway.  However, many transitional fossils do exist and serve to provide a basis for discussions on evolutionary theory.  Pick a transitional fossil and describe what information this fossil provides about different lineages.
