Ensuring that organizations are recruiting and selecting a diverse candidate pool is essential. Some organizations, unfortunately, have been guilty of recruitment practices that are not legal. The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission highlights policies and practices that organizations must adhere to when hiring and selecting candidates. Examine the EEOC website: https://www.eeoc.gov/laws/practices/. Provide 1-2 examples of where following these laws can affect a recruitment process, and 1-2 strategies on how organizations should modify their recruitment processes to ensure that they still hire the best and brightest employees in the marketplace.
