Technical writing

  Your  task is to write a technical process description for a person who needs  to understand a certain term in order to solve a problem at work.  You  must create the person and his/her job, company, and problem.  The term  appears at the bottom of this email. There are three parts to the project: the prospectus, the planning memo, and the process description. The  prospectus is a short memo sent to me before the planning memo and the  process description.  In the prospectus, you will detail your audience,  the company they work for, and the problem they have at work that  necessitates learning about the term.  Remember: the person needs the  process description because they do not know or understand the term.
