After you have read these pages, respond to the following prompt in an initial discussion post:
The anonymous writer of the "Sample Source Evaluation" in CEL Ch.15 summarizes Bond Pittman's article at several points throughout their evaluation. As you look back over the instruction in Ch. 15 and Ch. 16, think about how the writer of the "Sample Source Evaluation" uses summary to support their opinion about Pittman's writing.
- How well does the writer "remove much of the detail while still dealing with the complexity of [Pittman's] idea"? (468)
- How fair and accurate is the writer in capture the content and context of Pittman's writing?
