I feel that the local levels of government has the greatest impact on our day to day lives. Our Local government plays a huge role in our community. They are responsible for public schools, water, the police and fire services, zoning regulations, and arrange elections for their citizens and much more. These are the things that can affect our lives in many ways. Unlike the federal government they mostly conducting foreign affairs such as trade, commerce and immigration. Also the federal government implements law, but the law that are passed on the national level usual takes time to be enforced through out the states. These are some of the resaons why I feel that the local government affect our lives.
