In the first half of the semester, we looked at the transformative impact of the French and Industrial Revolutions on the European world of the 19th century. Since then we have explored how that changed world continued to evolve over the succeeding eight decades between 1890 and 1970. So for your FINAL ESSAY, please (A) write an essay of 750-1000 words (can be more) in which you discuss the high and low points of those years and how the European world of 1970 differed from that of 1890; and (B) accompany your essay with a slideshow of 10 images that complement the essay that you have written. Each image must be identified with a brief explanation of what it is (i.e., photo of Virgina Woolf speaking to the women of Girton College, 1925). No images from the textbook may be copied.
