Reflection Paper
Now that you have completed all of your papers for the course, it's time to think about the work we've done this semester.
You will complete a 4 page reflection that works through the reflective processes we've talked about in connection with Giles' "Reflective Writing and the Revision Process." This paper should think about metacognition (or thinking about process, intentions, and execution).
Your paper should address the following questions:
1. Which paper was easiest for you to write? Which paper was the hardest to write? Why? How did you work through the difficult portions of it?
2. What have been your writing strengths this semester? How has your writing improved? This can discuss just the papers in this course or all the written work you have done this semester.
3. Which was your worst paper? How would you revise it?
4. How has your revision process changed?
5. What have you learned about research and sources? How do you read articles differently after this course?
6. How are you going to apply knowledge from this class to other classes? How are you going to apply knowledge from this class to writing situations outside of school?
Use standard font and margins to improve readability. Organize this paper in a way that is clear for me to understand. You may choose to use a few headings to label different themes or thoughts you have. You may choose to separate by using clear paragraphs for each question.
