1.  The average American household holds nine credit cards. What's in your wallet (please don't disclose debts or personal info).

a. Economic stress can be listed as normative or situational. What are the  differences and which do you think causes more stress?
b.  List some (at least two) available resources military members or families can draw on when faced with economic crisis.
c.  How does marital status affect financial stressors? (Discuss singles, married, divorced and widowed). 

2.   Explain  the differences in men and women as both victims and offenders in terms  of deviance and crime.  Are the rates of victimization and crime  different?  What factors might lead to those gender differences?  How  does gender affect treatment in the criminal justice system? Include a  recent news piece that is related to the topic of gender, crime, and/or  deviance.

Your  assigned readings this week focus on adding value to the hospitality  experience and competitive strategies in the hospitality industry. For  this discussion, find, post a link, and summarize an example of how a  hospitality organization is adding value to the guest experience in a  unique way.

Be  sure to include in your summary the segment of the hospitality industry  in which this organization is operating, the unique strategy, and your  opinion of whether or not this will be successful in the long term.
