Recall a time you encountered a profit maximization strategy as a consumer. Perhaps your phone succumbed to planned obsolescence; or maybe you noticed that something was following a logic of safety. Reflect on the strategy you encountered, how you can identify the strategy, and how it made you feel. What was meaningful about the experience? Do you feel that you or anyone else was wronged?
