Please consider the following prompt and craft a response that sufficiently captures all aspects of it from your unique point of view and original research. Please cite and reference any source(s) you use to help write this response in  APA format . Notice that in addition to your Main Entry post, you will need to offer two substantive classmate response posts to complete this exercise. See below instructions that will guide your peer engagement thinking/posting. See syllabus or course calendar for due dates for both Main Entry posts and peer engagement.

Main Entry (Parts 1 - 3):

Part 1: Post a brief analysis of what you learned from this unit’s assigned readings. Include at least 1 takeaway about the intersection of gender and communication or the function of gender in relationships. Consider and discuss both points through your unique point of view. Remember to cite the source of your information and reference it at the end of your post as well.

Part 2: Watch  The Science of Love  in your Required Videos with the questions below in mind, then prepare your response. Discuss at least 2 takeaways from Gottman’s talk. What did you learn about emotions, communication (verbal and non-verbal), and conflict resolution? Do you agree with Gottman’s conclusion, that “the magic of love requires calm and commitment which in the end makes the magic of great love a bit less of a mystery?” Bring in other selections from our Unit #5 readings to support your video observations, personal experiences, etc.

Part 3: Locate a credible, scholarly source (e.g., article, video, podcast, etc.) that explores the experience of interpersonal communication and relationships for transgender and non-binary individuals. Include an original summary of the resource (an AI-generated one will not demonstrate your personal understanding and point of view on it) and why you believe it is a useful learning tool – how might dissemination of this information aid in greater societal understanding? Include an APA Style reference that includes an active hyperlink so that the resource is accessible to your classmates.

Peer Engagement

Remember to circle back and substantively respond to two classmates by the due date specified in the syllabus and course calendar. Your peer engagement posts must go beyond summarizing and praising. To aid you in this endeavor, incorporate one or more of the following lines of thinking in your peer engagement posts, ensuring both a hearty, meaningful conversation and that your work meets criteria for substance and depth:

· Consider the takeaway your peer described in their Part 1 and offer your thoughts on why that concept is important and ground that takeaway in your own observations.

· Synthesize the takeaway your peer described in their Part 1 with what you mentioned in yours to coalesce a fuller understanding, providing examples to ground your point.

· Compare/contrast your observations of the Gottman talk to that of your peer’s. Offer some insights based on that compare/contrast and how you might use this information moving forward.

· Read the article your peer provided for Part 3 (focusing on the discussion section), and offer your own takeaways, synthesizing it with what you learned in your article to crystallize a fuller picture of communication and relationship in the TNB population.
