" Protests"
This week we see that revolution was fomented by protests, lots of protests, some violent. Condoleeza Rice, in her book Democracy: Stories from the Long Road to Freedom, says that periodic protests, even violent ones, are important for democracies.
So, today America is protesting a lot, right? Now, let's keep this civil (this is not a political forum for angst): is what we are experiencing today--Portland, anti-mask rallies, Black Lives Matter, etc.-- what Representative John Lewis called "good trouble" just part of our democratic process? How does your answer reflect the times of the American Revolution?
