Your rough draft should be 600-700 words. 

It should have four sources. 

The guidelines below should help you construct your essay:

First, compose a sentence or two that discusses the background/situation. Can you find a way to expand this problem to relate to a more general audience?  Can you relate it to an important concrete issue (health/safety/benefits for society)?

Second, describe the problem. 

Third, propose, or describe, a solution.

Fourth, evaluate the solution. 

Fifth, propose or describe an alternate or new solution.

Sixth, evaluate this second solution.
