While reading your text and articles and enjoying the videos, contemplate how you, as the new Athletic Director at Hillside College, can incorporate these managerial skills to bring the necessary change to your department.

In the Week 1 assignment, you discussed the mission statement, goals and visions of your newly acquired athletic department. Now it is your chance to formulate a specific plan to strengthen the management processes as you change the culture of your organization.

Use the management skills presented on p. 215 of your text to help guide your presentation.

Incorporate appropriate animations, transitions, and graphics to enhance your presentation. Each slide MUST include “speaker notes.” You may also record voice-overs throughout the presentation instead of writing speaker notes.

Length: 12-15 slides (with a separate title and reference slide).

Notes Length: 100-150 words for each ‘speaker note’

References: Minimum of three scholarly resources.

Be sure to include citations for quotations and paraphrases with references in APA format and style.
