Poster Presentation 90 points

Criteria Description

Create a poster that you could present professionally. Use attached document “Poster

Template.” Upload your revised and updated poster for presentation.

5. Target 90 points

The submission is presented effectively, and all of the required elements creatively

contribute to the presentation of the concepts.

4. Acceptable 76.5 points

The submission is presented effectively and contains all of the required elements.

3. Approaching 67.5 points

The submission contains minor inconsistencies that are not overly distracting.

Presentation contains a majority of the required elements.

2. Insufficient 58.5 points

The submission is ineffective, contains multiple inconsistencies, or is missing a few

of the required elements.

1. Unsatisfactory 0 points

The submission is incoherent, contains major inconsistencies, is not presented

effectively, or is missing a substantial amount of the required elements.

Mechanics of Writing 5 points

Criteria Description

Includes spelling, capitalization, punctuation, grammar, language use, sentence

structure, etc.

No mechanical errors are present. Appropriate language choice and sentence

structure are used throughout.

4. Acceptable 4.25 points

Few mechanical errors are present. Suitable language choice and sentence

structure are used.

3. Approaching 3.75 points

Occasional mechanical errors are present. Language choice is generally

appropriate. Varied sentence structure is attempted.

2. Insufficient 3.25 points

Frequent and repetitive mechanical errors are present. Inconsistencies in language

choice or sentence structure are recurrent.

1. Unsatisfactory 0 points

Errors in grammar or syntax are pervasive and impede meaning. Incorrect language

choice or sentence structure errors are found throughout.

Criteria Description

Uses appropriate style, such as APA, MLA, etc., for college, subject, and level;
