Assignment: Multimedia Keynote Presentation
Objective: to evaluate the student's knowledge of being politically competent as a health care leader and to build his or her online presentation skills
You are a senior health care leader working at a prominent hospital in Chicago. You have been asked to speak at the American College of Health Care Executives (ACHE) annual meeting. The topic you are to present on is entitled: Health Professional Leadership within the Political Process. Your powerpoint and video presentation is to cover the following points.
The reasons for health care leaders to be involved in the political process
Steps and strategies to become involved
Where leaders can insert themselves or be used in the process
The benefits and challenges of being politically involved
Assignment Guidelines:
Your presentation should be created using PowerPoint
Presentations should include voice or video inserts of you explaining the information being presented.
Do not overcrowd your slides, discuss key points as if you were speaking to a panel.
Use bullets and phrases instead of sentences.
Presentations should include pictures, charts, diagrams, or images that reinforce the information being presented, not just for filler.
Presentations must include an introduction and conclusion
You should use research and all research used needs to be cited on the slide in APA format and referenced at the end of the presentation.
The presentation should be free of grammatical error.
There is no slide or time length minimum or maximum. Concentrate on the quality of the content instead.
