Paraprofessional Interview Guidelines

Interview a paraprofessional or an administrator at your school or district office to answer the following questions related to paraprofessionals.

1.  Describe the role of the person you interviewed.  Is the interviewee a paraprofessional? An administrator?  Why did you choose to interview this person?

2.  Define the term ‘paraprofessional’.

3.  What are the requirements to become a paraprofessional?

4.  Describe at least three different job duties that a paraprofessional might fill (examples include instructional, library, physical education, personal care, etc).

5.  What process is used to evaluate paraprofessionals?

The paper must be at least one page in length, 12 point Times New Roman, one inch margins on all sides.  

Your paper MUST convince me that you interviewed a real person and didn’t just find the information on the internet!  If you have questions about this, let me know!
