Online Dating
Research has found that the number of couples who meet online has soared. More more people now meet online than through family, church, or even college. How might this trend impact common factors in mate selection such as propinquity, homogamy, or exogamy? Have you ever dated someone you met online? Did you meet through a dating site/app or through a different kind of site/app (such as through social media or gaming)? If you have not ever met someone to date online, would you be open to this possibility? Why or why not?
