Topic for your initial response: Victims of crime are impacted by their experience in a variety of different ways. What are some of these impacts? How are these various impacts ameliorated and/or worsened by external entities such as the Criminal Justice System (including police, courts, and corrections), the media, the government, and other organizations? Do victim advocates or community groups assist victims in helpful ways? Refer specifically to the assigned videos and readings, plus your own research in your responses.
