As promised, here is the next part of Chapter 12, Developing Strategies for Multiplication and Division Computation, from our text. This week you'll read pages 283-298, starting at Invented Strategies for Division. This part focuses on division and how that process plays out in the classroom and has a section on how computational estimation supports student understanding of multiplication and division.

After reading the article or chapter, make connections between the math concepts and
