In addition to human resources, hiring managers have to stay within company and legal guidelines when selecting employees.  From a human resource perspective, identify three steps or processes in the selection process that you would expect managers to know. 

Discuss these three steps or processes.  Explain why they are important for managers to know before interviewing external candidates for a vacancy with an organization.
