Create a project that you would like to work on. It can be actual or fictitious. You will work through the remaining assignments in the Project Management process with this project so it may be good to be somewhat familiar with the content. 

• Write an Executive Summary/description of your project. 
• Develop a Project Charter for your project. Your Charter should include all the following elements and be submitted in this order:
  • Project title
  • Purpose (you can use excerpts from your executive summary/description).

  • Objective (you can use excerpts from your executive summary/description)
  • Success criteria or expected benefits
  • Major deliverables
  • Acceptance criteria
  • Milestone Schedule
  • Key assumptions (if you have any)
  • Constraints (if you have any)
  • Major risks (all projects have risks!)
  • Resource Requirements Plan
  • Project Manager
  • Reporting requirements
  • Project Sponsor
  • Value proposition
  • Approval signature and date
