Outline a mental health program to treat the primary psychopathologies of mentally disordered offenders, including schizophrenia, major affective disorders, personality disorders (including psychopathy), brain damage, and mental retardation. Using examples of worst and best practices, describe the difficulties in treating dangerous offenders who often will not comply with mental health assessments, participate in mental health treatment or adhere to pharmacological treatment and how your program will seek to address these difficulties. The paper should be in APA format, 990-1980 words (or 3-6 pages) not counting the cover page and reference page, and use at least three scholarly resources not listed among the course materials.
