Assignment 3: Transcription Assignment Practice: Using Encouraging, Paraphrasing, and Summarizing SkillsNow that you have applied encouraging, paraphrasing, and summarizing on paper, it’s time to try these out in a practice session with your volunteer client athlete. This assignment will give you the opportunity to apply these basic counseling skills in real time.The purpose of this practice session is to apply attending, encouraging, paraphrasing, and summarizing skills with your volunteer client in real time. You will be graded on your use of all of the attending skills: listening, paraphrasing, summarizing, and encouraging.Part IFor this part of the assignment, complete the following tasks:Contact the athlete willing to role play a concern or situation for which consulting a sport psychologist might be advisable.Have the volunteer client sign the release for this session.Remind the client athlete to follow the provided scenario and emphasize that this is not a true counseling situation. Encourage the client athlete to reveal thoughts and feelings appropriate to the role during the role play.Relax and transcribe the interview, conducting 15 minutes of a
